Lewis Hamilton supposes Mercedes are going to get it”difficult to beat” rejuvenated Ferrari at F1’s forthcoming races – but has endorsed the entire world champions to climb to the renewed challenge.
Against all pre-weekend expectations in Singapore, on a course that demands high downforce – a sensed 2019 Ferrari weakness – the Scuderia finished first and second in the race to extend their winning run to three races of Sunday – their order for 11 decades.

Because of this, Mercedes have suffered three consecutive defeats that were race-day for just the second time in the last six seasons.
And with Ferrari now seemingly having found a breakthrough with their car on paths which do not simply require horsepower – the established strength of that the SF90 – Hamilton is anticipating a fight that is more consistent.
“I am a realist, therefore I see the situation we’re in and they have just come up with some kind of upgrade that is perhaps put their automobile… maybe they have had a good car all year and it simply wasn’t functioning in the right window,” explained Hamilton on Sunday night.
“Who knows, as it’s unlikely they have attracted a gigantic, massive update that is brought 20-30 things [of downforce] to some thing which performance-wise is likely what you would expect they have accepted here.
“But clearly their automobile works extremely well everywhere today so it’s definitely going to be quite tough to conquer them, particularly as they are so quick on the straights. We can not compete together on the straights right now.”
Mercedes should’pull up our socks’
Despite Ferrari streak, Hamilton and Mercedes’ consistent winning kind prior to the August summer break implies they stay on track to defend their world names.
Hamilton extended his title contribute to 65 points, while Leclerc, Ferrari’s guide writer, is 96 points adrift with 156 points to perform over the last six races.
“We have won earlier with not the ideal automobile but it’s really how we deliver the weekend.
“At this time they are providing better from the operations region. Today I did enough at the race to emerge and lead but the processes didn’t get the job done. So we’ve only got to re-huddle, get back with them, work and proceed forward”
The world champion added:”Obviously it has got tighter and tighter as the year has gone , we work on that, but at the same time we have just got to do a better job.
“We’re doing such a wonderful job at the start of the year and we have this difference, but the gap can certainly go. I’m under no illusions – it is not won.
“We’ve got to pull our socks up. Together we can perform. But we lose and win as a group and most of us do not feel great right now.”
