The Catalan Football Federation has suspended following nine Catalan leaders had been detained all of matches in the area on Monday.
Spains Supreme Court introduced the leaders to sedition over their function in an independence referendum at 2017.
The federation says the suspension will be to show solidarity and covers all its official football and futsal matches.
It does not include La Liga or even the Spanish national group.
Catalonia is a region in north-east Spain and in a referendum on 1 October 2017, declared prohibited by Spains Constitutional Court, roughly 90% of Catalan votes throw.
Prosecutors accused some of those involved with a significant act of rebellion and argued the unilateral declaration of independence was an assault on the state.
Mondays ruling includes four months of hearings.
